This is a Hindi film based on NRI couple based in London. While the two men are comfortable with Hindi both the actresses tend to stumble. Especially Aruna, who muffs up her expression solely in an effort to get the nuances of the Hindi language right. Ditto for Lucy Hassan.
Bollywood in the past decades did seem to have been slowly shed its conservative approach but Aruna Shields seems to have broken all the barriers. Going bold and baring all, Aruna Shields is the most talked about pretty young thing in the entertainment fraternity. According to Aruna nudity is not the highlight of the movie. There is nude scenes in the movie but is shot from sideways, or pixeled out.
Extramarital affairs are like accidents that you keep reading about in the newspapers. You only get a jolt when it actually happens to you or to someone you know. It is a take on four dramatic characters. Mrs. Singh (Aruna Shields), an agony aunt columnist, is obviously agonized upon discovering her husband’s infidelity. Mr. Singh (Naved Aslam) and Mrs. Mehta (Lucy Hassan) are having an extra-marital affair, despite being ostensibly happy with their respective marriages. However his wife has confidence in Ashwin’s talent. Proceedings become interesting when Mrs. Singh and Mr. Mehta meet.
He loves his wife too much to confront her when he discovers she is having an affair. He knows if he confronts her, she will confess to the affair and he will not be able to live with it. Ashwin is full of complexities.
Considering that Bollywood has so few adult films to offer, this one’s a rare experience. is it a case of crisscrossed adultery, an unintentional spouse swapping. And the fact that it is dealt with a degree of understatement and maturity, with a great music score (Ustad Shujat Hussain Khan and Sharang Dev) to translate the emotional quotient on to the screen, makes it a decent watch. This film has ample nude scene and kissing seqences. Pravesh made sure that there were very minimal crew members on the sets while shooting the nude scenes. Though Aruna Shields was cool about being in her birthday suit, it was Prashant who kept fumbling and fluffing. The movie is not meant to titillate anyone so there were no vulgar scenes. Every shot is done very aesthetically.
The film is a refreshing walk off the beaten Bollywood track and scores on its minimalist approach to matrimonial discord.

Actress Neetu Chandra is all set to prove her worth in Bollyeood. Neetu Chandra is a black belt holder in Taekwondo. She loves to cook veggies and chicken. Diana Penty Represents International Brand Maybelline
Diana Penty is replacing Deepika Padukone as the new face of international cosmetics brand Maybelline New York. With this, she joins the ranks of international supermodels like Adriana Lima and Christy Turlington. “I feel great to get this break to endorse a brand that is so lively and truly multi-ethnic. For me it is not only about whom I am replacing but it’s about being on the same platform as international models and get international publicity,” Penty said in a declaration.
Penty is a student of the Elite Model Management and its CEO Sushma Puri was all praise for the young model. “Diana has a face that is very versatile and appeals to both Indian and international markets and she is also young, beautiful and confident. This makes her the ideal choice for any international brand,” Puri said.
In June 2007 Deepika Padukone was engaged as the brand ambassador of Maybelline.

The film has been in the news ever since Imtiaz approached Katrina Kaif for the female lead role and she refused. Imtiaz then almost signed Anushka Sharma, but then decided a new face would work better. The fact that Diana had starred in an advertisement with Ranbir worked in her favor. Imtiaz was searching for a suitable actress for the new project- new face or old. He was considering Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma for the same role, however dropped the idea.
Lucky Diana, Imtiaz has signed up Diana for the movie named “Rockstar” against the ‘Wake Up Sid’ actor.
Diana is a popular model in Mumbai and has also worked with Ranbir in a Virgin Mobile commercial. As the name implies “Rockstar” is all about pop music and the love between musicians. According to a source, Imtiaz was looking out for a girl with a mod, grungy look and Diana fitted the bill.

Family Movie Mommy and Me Fast Review
Directed by Jithu Joseph Mummy and me has relatively newcomer Archana Kavi doing the lead role as daughter along with Urvasi as Mummy. Kunchacko Boban, Mukesh, Lalu Alex, Shari, Janardhanan and Anoop Menon are doing other important roles.
World over malayalees life is getting a make over due to the influence of tv programes. That is the same reason why this movie may become a success.
The story line goes like this. Mommy and Me movie is about the daugher and mother played by Urvashi and Archana Kavi.
Jewel (Archana) is frustrated with her mother Clara (Urvasi), who finds fault in everything she does and tries to control her life. Father played by Mukesh has to bear the burnt of this, as he fails to bridge the gap between them.
And there is Jewel’s young brother who tries to spy on her; Rahul who loves Jewel secretly(played by Kunchako Boban. The twist in the tale comes, when the bad guys in college try to get even with Jewel and Rahul saves her.
The movie is carried forward in the safe hands of Urvasi and Kunchako to some extend. Urvasi performs excellent as over protective mother of the daughet. I saw one of her inerview where she speaks like a dumb girl. She has screen presence, but needs to hone down the histrionics. Kunchako Boban shaves off his moustache to look like a college student and succeeds in doing so to a large extent. Veterans like Mukesh and Lalu Alex have nothing exceptional to do.
This movie is getting ample attention and is is going to be another successfull in Malayalam as the subject and the presentation is loved by the malayalee family world wide. The society is looking for such good movies rather than purely commercial cinema.
It is the second movie for the director Jeethu Joseph with different subject than the first one. It may be the title and the story line which is doing the magic.

Vedam is a movie with five different sub-stories belonging to five different characters in the film and all are weaved together through a single thread. The movie starts by introducing the main characters and their problems in life.
Rahim is a muslim in multiple problem and trying hard to prove that he is not a terrorist.
Another one is hoping to get free from the sex trade. The role of a prostitute ‘Saroja’ is donned by Anushka Shetty and shows off her flatten belly sparingly.
A rock star who desparately trying to make it big in the music world is the third character.
Ramulu an old man sets out on a journey with his daughter-in-law to get some money home for his sons educaation.
Ramu wants to befriend a rich girl and looking for money to entertain her.
In this movie every one produces their best. The cameos by Bhramanandam and Krish himself were suitably written too. ‘Vedham’ will establish a novel cult of picture production, as of the reaction it is receiving now.
MM Keeravani composed the song written by Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry, Sahiti, E S Murthy and Keeravani.
Main characters of the movie is played by Manoj Manchu, Manoj Bajpai, Satyam Rajesh Allu Arjun, Anushka Shetty, Lekha Washington, Brahmanandam and Others.
