Sonam Kapoor fans will get their eyefull in her next movie. She is reportadly appearing in Abbas Mustan’s next movie. Sonam Kapoor reinvents her look for Abbas Mustan’s Italian Job remake. The flick now has an official title Players, which will go on the floors in November. It is learnt that the actress will be seen in sexy minis and short dresses.

A source close to the project said, “Abbas Mustan are famous for presenting their girls in the most glamorous way. Hence, in Players, Sonam will be seen in some really hot western clothes. Apart from her ensemble, she will also be accessorized and styled uniquely.”

The film’s first schedule starts off in November and later moves on to Russia and New Zealand.

Sonam Kapoor, the Masakalli girl of Delhi 6, is feeling much healthier at this moment following her bout of typhoid fever. However her health issues plus her consequent helplessness to be there on the shoot of Mausam has resulted in a big hole in the producer’s pocket. The loss is rumoured to be approximately Rs seventy five lakh.

The complete set for Mausam, directed by Shahid Kapoor’s father, Pankaj Kapur, had to be dismantled in Mumbai recently due to this. “Some romantic scenes of Sonam and Shahid had to be filmed.

But because Sonam went on sick leave for a long period, we had no option but to cancel the Oct shoot for the time being. The dismantling of the set resulted in a big loss to the producer,” states a source.

Adds the source, “The next schedule will now be shot in Gwalior. Sonam might be required but only for a few scenes.”

When contacted, Talwar confirmed, “Sonam could not shoot as she was down with typhoid.”

“We had to dismantle a set in Mumbai and lost Rs 75 lakh. But it’s okay. What is important is that Sonam is improved her health now. No problem about the money. We are insured on that, we’ll recover that at a later date.”

Delhi-6 is a Bollywood film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra starring Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni, and Divya Dutta. The movie is reportedly based on Mehra’s growing up years in Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi. The film will be Mehra’s third directorial venture after critically acclaimed Aks and the immensely successful Rang De Basanti.

The movie is set to release on February 20, 2009. The movie will premier in New Delhi on February 19,2009. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has gone on record to state that Abhishek Bachchan was always the first choice for Delhi-6. Date problems for Abhishek Bachchan delayed the film, but it all worked out in the end with Abhishek portraying the lead actor in the film which was the plan from day one. Sonam Kapoor, daughter of Anil Kapoor, who made her debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya, reportedly confirmed taking part in the movie and is paired with Abhishek Bachchan.

Few filmmakers are keen to cast Sonam and Ranbir Kapoor together. However, Sonam who is hurt after Ranbir brokeup with her and started dating Deepika Padukone, wants nothing to do with him.

However a friend of Sonam’s said, “Sonam is a professional. Frankly speaking, she did not like her role in Vicky’s film too much. After having done an author-backed role in Saawariya, she is in no hurry to sign too many films. She patiently heard Vicky’s script after which she told him that she wouldn’t be doing his film.”

When we tried to contact Sonam, her father, Anil Kapoor said, “It was purely Sonam’s call. I don’t interfere in her work. You may speak to Sonam or her manager Moumita.”

Sonam’s manager Moumita said, “It was Sonam’s decision not to do Vicky’s film. Right now, Sonam is doing Rakeysh Mehra’s Dilli 6. She has many offers and is reading a lot of scripts.
